Pros
- Fun work environment
- Supportive and friendly coworkers
-Amazing management staff
-Great training
This is my first sales role, but not my first job. I came to WW because I was miserable in my last job and desperate for a change. It was the best career decision I have ever made! I was so scared to get into sales, I thought I wouldn't be good at it. They teach you everything you need to know. Seriously, they have got the training down to a science. So if you're starting here as a sales associate- PAY ATTENTION IN TRAINING. What you learn there will set you up for success. They also get you connected with a mentor who helps you after training as you adjust to your role.
It is an amazing work environment. Everyone is so friendly and willing to offer help if you need it, there is a clear-defined path for career progression too (promotion opportunities). I have been here for 4 months and have already learned so much. The management staff genuinely cares about their team and making sure you're seeing success. If you're not, they will go out of their way to help you.
This is also a place where you can expect to build genuine friendships with your coworkers. They do team outings/events to help you get to know each other. I got kind of freaked out by some of the bad reviews on here before I started, but I have not experienced any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned (cliques. cattiness, that the quotas/goals are unreasonable, that managers only like the reps who "do well" etc.) Hitting quota is more than possible if you actually put in the work every day. This is a great place to work, I'd encourage anyone who's interested in sales to apply. Seriously, I never saw myself in sales. Now that I'm here, I can't imagine being anywhere else!
Cons
- Stressful job: this is for any sales job, not exclusive to WeddingWire. It can be stressful when you're having a rough week (or even month). Sales is definitely an emotional roller coaster sometimes but if you put in the work, you'll be successful.
