Pros

-Fun work environment -Fun events planned for employees -Casual attire -Free Breakfast -Unlimited PTO (this is a pro and a con!) - AWESOME exec team!

Cons

- Felt like a high school, cliques between teams. - All depends on your given territory, a lot of times newer reps are given the toughest territories to sell into and end up not succeeding. -If you like dialing 50+ people a day who don't want to hear from you this is the job for you. - Pressure like any other sales job.. but is especially hard when you are given horrible territories. -Felt as if there was a game of favorites. People who are top performers at the company are treated much differently by management than those who are struggling. -People who had been there longer sat around and barely made calls because they would get so many inbound leads/renewal assistance. While the newer people had to crank out 50 + calls a day and see nothing from it.

Pros

WeddingWire is a wonderful place to work. The quality of its people is something that you can feel immediately. I go to work with a smile on my face and leave feeling that my talents were used to serve others. I've never worked somewhere as considerate as WW, where managers and coworkers genuinely care about my happiness and well being. There is flexibility when it is called for, and structure when it is needed. The culture at WW is authentic, inclusive and intentional. I'm very happy that I get to work here.

Cons

The open floor plan and collaborative nature of the team is awesome, and thedownside is that it can feel distracting and hard to focus sometimes. Consider adding more quiet spaces.

I love the people here too! Thanks for the feedback. I know, as we continue to grow, we are planning to add more options for work spaces to accommodate different working styles: collaborative, quiet, standing, relaxing, etc.!

Pros

Working at WeddingWire was a privilege. Knowledgeable team-members and a positive collaborative atmosphere means opportunities to learn, hone your skills and push yourself. Self-motivated personnel will not go unnoticed. WeddingWire is also a community; there are many in-house social activities, providing time to get to know your co-workers outside the job. Employees have the benefit of unlimited vacation, being able to schedule longer stints off than is possible at many other companies. Consideration for promotion occurs yearly and potentially quicker if you excel. Managers are open to discussion about your ideas, concerns and are genuinely concerned for your well-being.

Cons

WeddingWire has retained the volatility of a start-up and is experiencing growing pains. Certain key team members have need to assume intense amounts of responsibility as a stop-gap. This can lead to much pressure and stress for those individuals and their teams. Growth has occurred almost too quickly and the company is working hard to adjust. Compensation is about average for people in marketing/software development. There isn't 401k matching. Though there's opportunity to grow, its also possible to get pigeon-holed if you're not assertive. There's a 'Work hard, party hard' atmosphere about the company that will appeal to some and not others.
