Fine if you work in DC

Pros

Fun atmosphere if you work in the HQ in DC.

Cons

If you work in a satellite office you get zero attention paid by the head office. The company is working as if they were still a start up, but they've gotten too big to operate that way. Company talks a big talk as far as benefits go, but in truth they are pretty awful (i.e. 401k and maternity leave)

Amazing first job, but could be better in ways

Pros

Hot catered breakfast every morning, catered lunches regularly, and decent giveaways for hitting numbers. Company events. Unlimited PTO was realistic if you hit numbers.

Cons

Very "high school". Unfortunately, the people that work there have not grown up from their high school or college days and tend to surround themselves with people that have not either. Clique, gossipy, and materialistic. It is easy to get caught up in it, but in retrospect, it was healthy to get away from the petty behavior and talking behind the back of team members. There are more important things in life than drinking, parties, and material items. Pick up a hobby, invest in yourself and relationships that are actually healthy. It's time to grow up.

Sales leaves much to be desired

Pros

-Lots of events happening (a lot involving drinking so if you're not a fan may not be the best) -Young work environment -Certain managers are exceptional and go above and beyond -Free breakfast/end of the month catered lunches

Cons

-EXTREMELY cliquey environment: prepare to relive high school and college all over again. Sales floor environment is naturally separated into teams already and then mini-teams but the clique-iness and blatant discrimination is really off the chain. Almost everyone here acts the same way and is the same kind of person it's almost scary, and you notice it immediately. If you are different than them in any way or don't fit into the "norm" it won't be a great peer working environment -Everyone here is interested in drinking so if you are different or your interests involve other things, you will feel alienated. Reminded me of college (which I thought I was done with) and WeddingWire feels like a giant sorority. -The workload exceeds the pay -Sometimes not a professional environment and management regularly blurs the lines between their role and who they manage -Most managers do not care about your professional/personal development, only how much revenue you are worth to the company so they look good too
