- CEO's involvement in the every day aspect of the business is slowing the growth of the organization with poor and/or cheap decisions. - Poor leadership at most levels resulting in the company going backwards. - Divisions within organization that are poorly managed and are a drain on the overall business. - Inappropriate behavior by senior management that results in questioning the integrity of the organization. - Poor financial decisions that have had significant impacts on the company and its employees. - Micromanagement environment (ex. daily time reporting for all employees). Managers questioning their employees regarding EVERY minute they spend during a workday/work week. - Management does not listen to their employees when discussing challenges, nor create an action plan to address. - VERY low employee compensation when compared to the job market. - Poor employee retention. - Slow to adapt to new technology internally and for their customers. - No career growth for employees, nor does the company seem to care, which makes it even worse. - In most cases, will not provide the necessary tools to be successful because they cost money. - Will not empower their people to make changes or evolve the organization. - Not flexible with work schedules (ex. managers that are checking to the minute when employees come into an office). - ZERO diversity in the company. It is shameful if you review all of the employees ethnicities. - Very few amenities offered to their employees when compared to other organizations.
