Pros

Located in a shopping center where there is easy access to other stores to shop and things go on sale for a decent price.

Cons

The employees are just rushing around trying to get the job done. They do not care about the customer and god forbid the customer has a problem or issue the world seems to end to the employee taking care of that customer.

Pros

Great people to work with. A lot of the members of my community worked there and shopped there. Managers had set schedules to follow in order to get jobs done on time and look professional. Easy going environment.

Cons

Lack of discipline. I was always an hour late in the mornings and no one seemed to care. A lot of high school kids work there so there is a lack of work ethic. Being a cashier is mind numbingly boring. Pay was low, but good benefits were available.

Pros

Weis has a lot of good associates with a long history with the company and you can learn a great deal from them. Salaries are competitive.

Cons

The company is very behind the times in terms of technoiogy. There is constant turnover in management. Wages for department managers and leaders are below that of the competition, so you may have to run your store without a manager in a given department for a long time. Senior management can be very unprofessional.
