Pros

They just increased our 401K match this year from 4% to 6%, wow, I guess that is the best I could come up with.

Cons

Company leadership doesn't know which direction is going from one day to the next or which person is in charge from one day to the other and then store managment is put in the position of whom do you listen to when they enter your building and start barking orders. Most of the Company leadership were handed their positions as they came from Price Chopper with the current CEO and have NO clue on how to effective do their jobs and especially can not deal with people, unless of course you enjoy being talked to like a 3 year old child who just spilled grape juice on your new white carpet every day of your working life. The company continues to promote Vice Presidents and provide perks to the leadership while the stores are understaffed and taxed and then the leadership wonders why the stores look like they do. Try to take a day off as a manager and you almost have to fake your own death, unless of course you are again one of the managers that came along from the Price Chopper group and then you can have all the time off you want including vacations during Thanksgiving week, Fourth of July etc. The training and development that they provide for their teams is a joke. If you don't know what you are doing as a manager coming in the door they won't teach you because all you will do during your "training" is stock shelves. As an associate training goes, I am truly amazed that any associate stays longer than a week. NO training, hard work, low pay, no benefits, NO appreciation. There is a constant complaint about how the back rooms look and why is there so much stock in the back room but no one in leadership ever wants to stop and listen and learn that it is all product that the office in Sunbury sends to the stores that the stores do not need and when you try to put it on the floor, leadership says "get rid of it" so where does it have to go? IN THE BACK ROOM. Try to get anything fixed in your store.

Pros

They work well with difficult schedules or if something suddenly comes up.

Cons

Its politics!!!! One job title can mean you are crammed with many other job buries with any pay raise. And you have to stay organized because management is not. And they do not know how to communicate with department managers. You can be paused out in a small matter of time!! Politics!!
