Pros

Great ET, you do not have to ask a supervisor for time off. You get 33 days off a year.

Cons

They are strict about using your ET, if you call out you can get fired.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the flexibility of our earned time (ET) program as well as the amount of time off we provide to our employees. With a part of our mission being to effectively serve our members, we do ask our employees to follow procedure when it comes to using ET and that involves getting advance approval from your manager. We understand the value of taking time off to restore, relax and take care of personal matters, but we also have to strike a balance to ensure we have adequate employee coverage in place to fulfill our mission. Again, thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. Your Friends at WellSense.

Pros

The ability to Work remotely

Cons

This company does not care about their employees. There is no work life balance and they mandate ridiculous and unrealistic quotas. You are nothing more than a machine that produces. They don't care about employees who are experiencing hardship or serious personal and family struggles. Leadership is detached and untrustworthy. They only care about bottom line and making leadership look good at the expense of employees. There is no upward mobility especially for people of color. They promote white people while overlooking the more qualified person of color. They make up policies on the fly and have no clear direction for their employees. They do discriminate and they break the law with no repercussions. Beware, there has been a recent mass exodus because people are tired of being treated like garbage. Do your research before joining this organization. If you don't mind being a puppet, being mistreated and under valued, then this is the place for you!!

Pros

WellSense is very employee centric. They have weekly newsletter that keeps us updated on the goings on. They acknowledge your works and the difference you make as part of the team. Benefits are generous as is the pay and bonuses as you move through your work. You feel good about working for a company that supports sustainability too.

Cons

Sometimes it seems a bit "top heavy" in managers, directors and VP. But it takes a lot of people to care for a lot of people!
