      Pros

      I have been at Mediware for about 5 years. When I first started I was a contractor. I transitioned after 6 months. The salary was only fair at that time. The previous leadership was more about making EBTIA numbers look good and not about anything else. However, the pay got better over the years and the work-life balance is amazing. The frequent cookouts and events are a huge bonus.Even while trying to make EDTIA numbers, life was good here. Flash forward and things have changed! The new CEO is all about growth. He knows you need to spend money to make money. He is a true leader. Things have only gotten better. Same cool perks as before, but even better. A new building is being built and it is going to be gorgeous. Work-life balance is still amazing. Overall I am pleased and plan to retire from Mediware. Why leave a place that checks 9 out of 10 boxes??

      Cons

      Now for the bad. Hey everyplace has some bad too. With new leadership comes change. Well we are going through a lot of change right now. Some people don't deal with change well and others have no issues. I think the changes being made really are necessary to make the company run smoothly and efficiently. Has there been some growing pains? Sure, but I really believe that these are minor and temporary. The outcome should be great.

      Great work/life balance Meaningful work Growth Opportunities Cross-training Smaller company feel even though we're mid-sized and growing Weekly team meetings / Monthly 1:1 with manager

      Cons

      No on-site gym; but with our new building (Spring 2019) that may change Annex site due to expansion makes flow a little cumbersome (short-term issue 12-18 months)
