Pros

Laid back environment Casual culture pay average

Cons

Disjointed business entities. Company is not really a true 'software' company. They are the big fish buying up smaller companies, but the companies are not well integrated even years after the sale. Effort in this last year to try to integrate but it is not seamless and not well thought out. Good pitch to customers but internally a mess (who's on first kind of mess).

Pros

A lot of the people are really great.

Cons

IT groups are treated like dirt, understaffed and expected to work around the clock. Management ignores needs of employees to squeeze every dime out of their products and services and does not care that the customers suffer as long as it costs them less then making things better.

Great coworkers,

Pros

My coworkers were great and seemed genuinely interested in my development. The company encourages you to develop your skills and provides you ample opportunity to do so. Encourages the use of AI tools for higher productivity (also a con, see below).

Cons

Long boring town hall meetings that are required for all engineers, and information presented is not relevant for most of the people attending. Is really pushing AI, and seems unable/unwilling to transition current potentially highly productive engineers with domain and application knowledge to new AI-focused roles. Also, transition away from QA roles has resulted in drops of quality and a lack of focus for developers that now assume those roles part-time.
