Pros

Coworkers are very friendly and willing to help as needed. It's evident the company truly cares about its employees and provides great benefits and ample time off. It's an exciting environment to work in and you will always be busy as the company is quickly growing.

Cons

Onboarding and training could use a lot of work. No company 401k match. Long hours, lack of structure to match company's growth. It's easy to get burnt out.

Pros

WellSky is an amazing company to work for. Our CEO is an amazing leader who has a great vision, compassion, and humble. He supports our WellSky Foundation, where we do amazing things to help organizations. Other leaders in the organizations shows and shares the same vision, and compassion. There is always something fun going on at WellSky. Our latest one was a Christmas Drive Through. Santa was there to spread a little holiday cheer. WellSky was very quick to respond to the pandemic. We began our work from home to ensure our safety. WellSky provided us with information about the situation and continues to do so. We are still hiring today. Visit our Careers page on our website to see. As managers, we have the freedom to express our gratitude to our teammates. We are able to present our teammates with gift cards, and send them snacks through GrubHub. We are encourage to check in on our teammates. We have quarterly awards where we recognize teams and teammates. Our leaders care about the employees. We have 1:1s with our teammates and ensure that they are well and that they have a career path. We have our WellSky Academy where teammates can learn about different subjects. And these subjects are up to date with the necessary technology. On the engineering side, we are encourage to learn and grow. We have Hackathons, and DevDays. We have a Speaker Series where we have industry leaders in different subjects present to us. We have many cohorts to learn different skills and technology. Our clients rely on our software to ensure that they can focus on their patients. The software may be in older technologies but we are uplifting them to the latest technology. Our CTO has a great vision. He wants to deliver functionalities fast, stable, and secure to benefit our clients. This does mean that there is a shift in technology to support that vision. Yes, other contributors have mentioned that there is a lot of work. And at times, chaos. But we have flex time and a good PTO policy. If you are a software engineer, you may be working and supporting older technologies. But we are uplifting them. Any negatives are definitely outweighed by the many positives.

Cons

It’s growing fast, which isn’t a bad thing but you have to be willing to grow as well.
