Pros

Almost 2 years ago, my husband was diagnosed with a terminal disease. Wellmark is the best employer to understand a life event such as this. To date, my team and leadership has been very supportive of me and my family. They don't just say they care, they show that they care. Wellmark understands "work life balance" and they work vigorously to protect it. Their wellness center is absolutely gorgeous and is included in your benefits package. Also, the wellness incentives are fun and motivate you to live a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, there are some great people that have worked at Wellmark for many years and they love to help newer employees to be successful.

Cons

Just one thing, communication on the path to leadership. How does one get there?

Pros

Lots of opportunities. Healthcare is a dynamic place to work right now so there is plenty of work and job opportunities. Great facility.

Cons

Things move fairly slowly. Lots of processes. Management is aware and working on it but will take some time. Working from home is not an option.

Pros

Gym, standing desks (if you're not a temp/contractor)

Cons

Temp/Contract workers are treated terribly (sitting at folding tables in the hallway with no privacy or space to work, have to fight for hours/pay) the cafe is outrageously expensive for what you get, upper management Director level people are harsh and uninvolved, uninformed. Too many projects for its own good.
