Pros

The benefits are great are Awesome. The paid time off is also great.

Cons

The leadership in Customer Service dept sucks. The leader likes to rule by fear and putting you down to make herself feel better. She enjoys making others cry and putting you down.

Pros

Wellmark has far exceeded my expectations! I have been with Wellmark for almost 4 years now, and I've enjoyed every minute of working here. It's hard to not see a smiling face or someone willing to give a helping hand. The benefits are hands down one of the biggest perks. From the free fitness facility with classes and personal trainers to the focus on continuous learning with tuition reimbursement and loan repayment. However, one of the biggest wins in my opinion about working here, is the strong focus on the employees and their success. There are so many opportunities to advance your career and you get support from leadership to make it happen. I could continue on about all the “wins” with working at Wellmark, but I want to end on how strongly Wellmark focuses on inclusion. Wellmark has always cared about inclusion and it’s even one of the core values, but it wasn’t until 10 years ago that the CEO formed a cross-functional group of employees to serve as change agents and ambassadors of inclusion building an Inclusion Council. Throughout the last decade Wellmark has made tremendous strides in embracing the differences in our workforce and making every individual feel important, respected, and valued.

Cons

In all honesty, I have no cons and it's hard to have any cons about working with Wellmark. Even if I did, I had the opportunity to make a change.

Pros

Development opportunities; Inclusive culture; Health focus with free on-site workout facilities including personal training; Collaboration and Communication are top priority; too many perks and benefits to name

Cons

The only con I can think of is: someday I'll retire and won't get to come to Wellmark everyday, looking forward to serving our members!
