Pros

Wellmark has been by far the best workplace I have been employed with. The company provides flexibility with schedules and a great work/life balance. Collaboration is highly valued within the company which results in the no working from home policy. Many people look down on that but a company cannot have a collaborative workplace without their employees in the office. Everyday I feel like I have added value to the organization and not just another number. I come to work happy and I leave work happy.

Cons

Implementing something new or updating a process may take longer than expected because of the many policies and procedures we need to abide by.

Pros

Environment focused on personal and professional growth: "CEO of your career." Opportunities for internal advancement. Occasional casual days awarded to celebrate internal/external achievements or recognize specific charitable causes, holidays, etc. "Open door" policy extends through the entire senior leadership team, communication is open and encouraged between staff, leadership, and senior leadership, including the CEO. Actively developed culture centered around diversity, inclusion, community awareness and contribution, and proper work-life balance.

Cons

With a high number of long-tenured employees, new staff can initially experience difficulties finding their niche or primary role/contribution within a functional team.
