Pros

Great company with outstanding benefits, they pay well and provide a great working conditions. They are very customer service friendly and are a large player in the health market in Iowa.

Cons

Building the new home office and then having rate increase was not the best thing to do but I understand that it was just bad timing and it had nothing to do with the building cost.

Great building which is spacious and modern, exclusive gym that has many amenities, benefits can't be beat and people are the friendliest.

Cons

Things take a long time to get done and approved. Upper leadership does what they want versus what they say.

I have been with Wellmark for over 12 years and in my time I have had the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. I continue to be impressed by the focus on the customer - our customers are top of mind and center to every decision we make. As an employee I feel valued, challenged and I love coming to work every day. Having been with other companies I feel so blessed to be part of the Wellmark team - it is the best!

Cons

In my time at Wellmark there isn't anything I would list as a con. Each employee is challenged to be the CEO of their own career - the opportunities are endless!
