Pros

They have really good benefits and an awesome training program. I enjoyed working with my customers, however, it is a customer service job so you get the good ones and the bad ones. What makes the job is the people you work with.

Cons

Very sales orientated. You can get fired for not making sales. Where I work , there is no way for us to make our sales so there is a lot of turn over in that aspect. And they keep increasing sales goals each year which lowers moral for the employees.

Pros

Amazing Benefits - A variety of Health plans, dental plans, vision plans - 401 (k) with matching 100% up to 6% - Employee Counseling - Discount website for a variety of products and services Good early on potential for promotion up to the point of management.

Cons

Once you are a store or service manager you are pretty well stuck. Once you reach that level there are rarely any openings to move up and they typically go to the current senior managements favorites. Pay is mediocre compared to other companies but is marginally offset by the tremendous benefits. Expectations are too high and are never adjusted based on traffic or economic conditions. Senior management is very out of touch with the branch level and it shows in their inflated expectations.

Pros

Amazing opportunites for advancement, wells prefers to promote from within when the person is competent and comfortable in thier position and ready for a new challenge! They want you to succeed and have unlimited training for you to pursue to further you're career, my store manager (the person who runs the whole branch) is truly awesome. Beyond understanding and very inspiring! competitive pay, and you are definitely rewarded with promotion when you do well. Very fun environment to work.

Cons

You ARE promoted quickly when you do well. However, when you hit "incentive" aka-all you're goals for the quarter you get pay out, don't get too excited however because they raise the bar every year and lower the payout every time. I hit it this last quarter- $550 in pay out minus the 40% automatically taken out in taxes. Not sure why they lower it every year, Wells Fargo had thier highest earning quarter in HISTORY in 2010. But when you do hit incentive it makes it much easier to move up in the company, but only if there are position available, if you live in a moderate to small sized city be prepared to wait awhile.
