There is too much emphasis on offshoring in Operations. There is often poor decision-making on how to implement the offshoring. Morale is low when layoffs loom. Unrealistic expectations are present while the resources to succeed are not supplied.. Standard HMO and PPO plans are no longer offered and only HRA and HSA plans are available.

A publicly traded company, profits come first, then customer service. Profits are unequally distributed throughout the company, with upper management taking the most profits, the front line employee is luck to see a couple of pennies for raises. The average joe employee earns just enough to keep them above the poverty line. There are layers and layers of management scrambling and meeting all day long to come up with idea's on how things can be "simpler" and "more efficient". Technology has passed this company by, most everything at the Home Office is a very manual process. The office culture moral is generally low, there is discrimination at most levels.
