Cons
little to no acknowledgement of hard or persistent work, managers quick to point out mistakes rather than achievements. job appears to be more important than other things in your life to managers. time off is offered if requested a week in advance, but what they dont tell you is that they cut hours for requesting and/or calling off. the difficulty of work is not worth the little amount of pay received. when looking at drive-thru times, the amount of business or other factors that could increase the time are not considered. if register workers' drawers are short or over 7$ then they are wrote up regardless of the fact that other managers will work their drawer and managers count the money. they cannot always count the money correctly they are only human. you are fired if you receive three write-ups when it is possible to get wrote-up for the simplest things. pay raises and bonuses are promised to employees and managers with profit increase. the 2011 north american wendy's profit increase was around 5.6%, but no bonuses or raises. favoritism in scheduling is a problem. speed is the main focus of managers at wendy's chicken and potatoes can sit in drawers for hours as long as everything is served in a swift manner.
