      A Well Oiled Machine

      Pros

      Wendys is like a well oiled machine. all pieces work together toward one common goal, and no matter which piece your job is you will be well trained. there is an exceptional training system at wendys . every task has a procedure, which is explained in detail. even things like what exactly is said at the drive thru speaker is done according to procedure to be as efficient and productive as possible. when you know what is expected of you it is easy to excel. also it pays well and is flexible with schedules, unless you are management and then there is a set requirement of hours. there is always a boss to talk to if you have an issue, and if it cant be resolved there is their boss, and so on...

      Cons

      When you are management you can be transferred to another store at any time, which requires you to be very flexible about location. i found this hard. adjusting to a whole new crew, store layout, and manager is hard for me.

      As management you get free food, although after 3 years, it gets old fast and rather disgusting.

      Cons

      Bad management structure, bad communication with other management. District Manager's hound General Managers to push number reguardless of how staffed you are. They assume every store is running the way it should be and don't address or take care of problems. Lousy benefits. Can get stuck with a lousy schedule, which can be very inconsistent. If you have a personal life, you will lose it after working fast food management.
