Great local offices, but watch out when things get dicey
Pros
The LA office staff was amazing and helpful. Everyone loves to socialize and have trips after work hours. I appreciate that you can be work from a consultant level to partner level team members very easily. WM is a great place in early career to gain valuable and transferable skills. I left before this, but they moved to a swanky new building at the end of 2024!
Cons
You really have to manage your career carefully and ensure that others know what you are working on. It is very important to signal that you are contributing across social development, mentorship, and meticulously document your accomplishments on projects. This is not much of a con, but you have to do this constantly-which is part of the consulting norm. A real con-all my friends have been laid off or recently left the company bringing morale quite low.
