Pros

Securement training was adequate, shop was fairly print and thorough with repairs.

Cons

Both commitments to pay and hometime were wholly disregarded, drivers are treated as cattle, absolutely nothing more.

Pros

If you're a new driver, or if you need a second chance, they'll hire you, but that's about the best I can say.

Cons

I've never seen such a bad place to work. This is literally a bottom of the barrel kind of place, and that's how they treat you. In orientation, they treat you like a prisoner, because a lot of their employees are former inmates and that's what they understand. Everybody is either stressed and depressed, or just don't care, and driver support is horrible. They'll lie to you about your pay rate, and if your truck needs maintenance, you'll be down for days and forced to stay in the nastiest motel in Nashville.

There are no good reasons to work at Western Express. I would have given it a zero if it would have let me.

Cons

Everything!!! No JOKE... Told me I would be north east regional so I could see my family every weekend and they put me over the road. Making barley 500 a week. I have no direct tv or even a tv. Nothing they told me was true. Beware drivers!! This is not a joke. I wish it was.
