Pros

Flat bedders stay running since most truckers hate doing hard work. There's always some kind of load.

Cons

They owe me training pay for two days where I was on a trainer's truck. The woman in charge of trainee's pay is literally ducking a dodging me. You'll be treated like garbage, but that's mostly ALL trucking companies. The motel they stick you in is complete doo doo butter, but I'm sure truckers are accustomed to that. In the even that you want to, or need to, go home, they won't pay for it. They lure you here and screw you. They don't want you to hook up inverters in the trucks, so if you need to eat a specialized diet like I do, either disregard(like I did), or keep it pushing on to the next company. Home time? HAHAHAHA They'll feed you Mcdonald's cards while you're training, so prepare for stomach cancer. They have a gym on site at their Nashville terminal, but not for truckers because...well...I don't know. I would ASSUME that flatbedders would probably benefit from weight lifting immensely, but what do I know? I'm just gym nut trucker...

Pros

• A lot of really great people to work with. • Driver Managers keep you moving. • Good place for a new driver or someone needing a second chance in life. • A lot of new trucks. • Payroll is on time.

Cons

• Very low pay per mile. • The recruiters will lie and say anything to get you in the door. • A VERY disorganized company. • The Driver Managers ONLY care about keeping you moving. If you breakdown you’re on your own. • It takes forever to get anyone on the phone for issues. • The hotel they put you up at in Nashville is a true slum motel. • They will hire anyone, even fresh out of prison. • The training is very rushed and incomplete. • The mechanics don’t really know what they’re doing and don’t maintain the trucks very well. • You are pretty much thrown in to sink or swim. • You will get yelled at for things that aren’t your fault. • All they care about is getting the load there on time. They aren’t really very driver support oriented. • Very inefficient company to work for.

Pros

If you are just starting out this can be a good stepping stone company to work for. If you have a second seat and run teams it can also work well but they don't always have the freight to keep you rolling consistently as a team.

Cons

The night and weekend Dispatch was hit or miss, mostly miss. At times there is too much sitting but freight fluctuates. Getting home on time can be a challenge but I think that is true for many companies. It is large so don't expect one on one support all of the time.
