Interesting, impactful and rewarding work opportunity. As an emergency responder you will see things and be in situations that will rattle you and you have to keep a level head and do your job. Your work has the ability to save the lives of your team, other responders and contractors on sight, and the public. You will be given the opportunity to develop expertise based on what you click with and like doing, and you can make a name for yourself in the industry and among clients and other agencies.

Cons

The corporate side of things is a drag, and good pay came with continuously making a case to HR while continuing to do a great job, but it did eventually come. Stick with it and the opportunities for good pay and rewarding work will come.
