-If you are willing to work hard, you will advance quickly -If you are a female or minority, you will advance quickly -Big corporation, many benefits and perks to make you feel that you are taken care of
Cons
-Very poor upper level management (I have been told it is region specific and my region is considered poor) -Preferential treatment to "boot lickers" -Some coworkers will follow you and check into your daily work activities to inform management -Upper level management encourages and supports females and minorities, but some company employees with 10+ years experience work hard to devalue such individuals -Many promotions are earned yet there are also just as many who receive theirs by favoritism -Many long-standing employees are useless and don't do their jobs
