Great company being too strongly influenced by investors

Pros

Great benefits package and competitive wages. If you are fortunate to have a great manager, you have a good chance of attaining a good work life balance.

Cons

The company runs very lean, so the amount of work employees are expected to complete is not realistic in a standard works schedule. On the flip side of my positive comment. If you don't have a manager that is understanding, your work life balance will really suffer. The company has not come out with a top down policy to make it equitable. The company is also making many decisions based on investor feedback.

Pros

The employees and work environment are pleasant. Campus is beautiful and availability to health and recreation possibilities are good.

Cons

Still feel as though it is more of a "Good 'Ol Boys" environment. Positions are not always awarded to the most qualified, but the most well liked. There have been some strides made, but it is still a lumbering (sorry for the pun) large business in forward thinking. Feel they will sell you a bogus bill of goods to get your cooperation only to renig on "promises" made for the future.
