      Pros

      They pay you, you may learn something new about automotive repairs.

      Cons

      Terrible pay, terrible management that doesn't care about your well being or proper handling of materials. Very disorganized.

      Pros

      They're not shy about promoting. Great shop environment. Part of Firestone Complete Auto Care, so you get the small local shop feel and loyal customer base with a huge national supply chain.

      Cons

      Store managers are not given the ability to hire, promote, give raises, etc. Everything is done through the District Managers, who rarely have any first hand experience with how the shop is doing, often only physically stopping by once every 2 month or so. The system combines the worst aspects of micromanagement with off sight, unhelpful management. It would often take me 3 or 4 days to even get ahold of my DM even for a simple question.

      Pros

      Great discounts for employees and also paychecks are every Friday of the week. Great place to learn about tires and to provide great customer service

      Cons

      Can never get off on time (especially closing shift). Sometimes sales associate will have to go to the garage to install tires
