Pros
Some of the pros for working at Whiting Turner is that company wide, it is very supportive and there's a lot of great talent there. It's a great place to learn about construction, holistically, because you do everything from project management to estimating even to business development where as at other companies, you may just have one role and that's it for 20 years.
Cons
Although you're getting a great experience, promotions seem to be based more on how long you've been with the company as opposed to actual skill level which for someone who feels they are really excelling, can be frustrating. Also, pay is quite a bit lower compared to Whiting Turner's competition.
