Business Outlook
Pros
Pay keeps up with national averages, fun to change environments each year on a new building project. Clear paths to promotion. Do a good job, work hard, and you don't need any special training.
Cons
The only con is the whole industry to move to working 50 hours a week plus a weekend each month, which means each month you will be asked to work 12 days in a row. As a salaried employee it takes away from the appeal of the initial pay. But since you don't need special training to enter this career, its the price you pay for a good income.
