Whiting-Turner reviews

The experience was mixed. They lack a feeling of community or team work from the top down in my office. My direct manager is great but the head of my office is the issue. Do not feel as though he has any issue in the growth of my career. I have been put into positions with him that I felt really uncomfortable with and when I have brought it up to others. It was just laughed off, and chalked up to my manager being my manager. My concern for my career is not today but how things are going to run once my Vp is in charge. When it comes to projects, everything is Monday morning quarterbacked. Issues that are brought up are ignored and fall on deaf ears. Not the most comfortable place to work.

Growing rapidly and has a very corporate feel. The base pay is very low compared to others because of the SARS you can receive in the future. Work life balance does not exist. Field staff are expected to do as much paperwork and administrative work as the office. Side note: expect to be done that week if you put in any type of notice you’re leaving.
