      Pros

      There is a lot about the firm that is great. Whitley Penn has a strong culture that encourages collaboration, values the diversity of its employees, and is very collegial. It is a place where you can build a really nice career if you deliver on your work. There is lots of room for personal and professional growth which is supported by firm training and management. You will gain valuable work experience. The firm is entrepreneurial and nimble – decisions are made quickly. The firm’s open door policy is real – you will have access to Partners and senior leadership. Billable hours are reasonable and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy time off. Your co-workers are great and you’ll learn a ton.

      Cons

      There is certainly flexibility, but during busy season you will need to put the work in.
