Pros

Unlike larger consulting/advisory firms in Dallas/Fort Worth, the Transaction Advisory Services department at Whitley Penn always encourages its members to express their individual thoughts, concerns, and new ideas. Our department constantly focuses on investing in, and developing members at all levels, from staff to partner. Our team is constantly learning how to utilize the latest technology available for the purposes of continual process improvement. We are always learning new ways to problem solve issues - creativity is encouraged here unlike departments at other firms. A fundamental aspect of any strong team is the people who lead it. The upper management of our group is led by industry experts with diverse professional backgrounds, and respectable reputations. It's exciting to work with people who not only want to help their clients, but who also want to invest in their staff. For prospective employees of Whitley Penn, and specifically the TAS department, I highly encourage you to check our website for an updated listing of open positions and additional information relevant to the firm.

Beware M&A

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good lower level team members that care for you and try to help you improve.

Cons

No clear guidelines or expectations. Single partner groups destroy they’re own practices by getting to much power. Completely miss how they treat people. Will run off entire group.

Excellent work product and talent are paramount to the success of a growing M&A practice. Quality control is of absolute importance and is top priority in regards to client service. It is also important to note that we do not have any single partner groups within our firm. All partners and leadership work together to support our clients and employees.
