Pros

Good benefits and pandemic resistant. Lots of OT available during summer season

Cons

Management is misleading. Pay structure is complicated and experience means nothing. Zero PTO allowed during summer months making the winter months is a competition with coworkers for PTO.

Pros

Working for a family owned company is nice, not having to feel the pressure of meeting shareholder expectations. The company does allow us to do what is right for the farmers first.

Cons

Pay and benefits may not be as competitive as bigger national companies. Going through a lot of changes trying to keep up with industry can be exhausting.
