Too political

Pros

Most employees are very friendly and helpful. Williams puts a major focus on being a part of the community and supporting its employees, and they mean it. Benefits and salaries are very competitive within the markets they operate, even if there is small opportunity for advancement once you're in.

Cons

Far too many decisions are made based on office politics rather than business reasons. A conservative and risk-averse culture within areas where risk is acceptable. Old ways are religiously stuck to even though it's clear that these business practices are what is putting the company in trouble, overworking its employees, and limiting its growth. Annual and midyear reviews are a joke.
