Pros

Winchester Interconnect Hermetics is excelling in the aersospace and commercial technology market. Winchester continues to improve each year with improving processes and designs. Great faculty/team to work with.

Cons

Becoming a united team. Each departent can work well within each other, but sometimes when other departments want to work with each other there is some tension.

Pros

In my experience, working at Winchester Interconnect has provided me with an exponential growth in my knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, and all subsequent testing procedures, equipment, and functionalities of hermetics. The collaboration between the various internal departments like engineering, sales, machine shop, and the assembly team allow for a seamless operation with an ability to swiftly attack any issues that arise. Beyond that, the empowerment given from the supervisors and management allow for any employee to dive deep into what makes Winchester Interconnect the best company to work for and the best company to do business with. The amount of knowledge and expertise flowing through this building can be overwhelming at times due to the vast amount of operations we are capable of performing within house, but this is exactly what allows for numerous years of growth and longevity in a career here.

Cons

The biggest downside to working at Winchester Interconnect is continuously conforming to the specific Military-Aerospace standards that apply to our many different job applications. With all the stringent standards we are expected to follow, there is much required knowledge beyond simply assembling parts. When bringing on new employees, there is so much information to teach that some might be forgotten or slip through the cracks without proper training, teaching, and supervision.
