Pros

Listens to employees, continues to become more of an employee centric company

Cons

work load. More in person training. However, they have made improvements in holding more in person training versus the typical on line training currently available.

Pros

I've been working at one of the Winn Residential properties for almost a year now and my experience so far has been extremely positive. I started out with little to no background in property management and I've been able to learn so much about the industry in such a short amount of time. Winn overall seems like a great place to grow; there's a lot of different opportunities within the company - whether corporate or on site at a property, and with locations all over the country it seems like there's so many different avenues that you could explore. A big bonus is the benefits, which have taken a lot of worries away and there is a ton of vacation time! All in all I would definitely recommend Winn to anyone looking for a great company where there's plenty of place to grow.

Cons

Truly it is hard to think of many cons for Winn. I guess the only point I would stress that could be construed as negative is that it can be a demanding place to work in that they really value hard work . There isn't room for slacking on the job, so if you are looking for an "easy" job, this isn't the place for you.

Pros

Telecommuting pilot beginning in September; company empowers employees to be innovative by supporting lean process initiative; competitive compensation with pay for performance merit increases; managers along with members from the Employee Action Committee monitor workload to ensure balanced portfolios; company is committed to investing in the growth of its' employees; recently 2 former employees that left the team within the past 16 months requested to come back. That is the best endorsement of the company!

Cons

It took too long to roll out a telecommuting policy. Wellness program is not robust and requires focus.
