Leadership is very committed

Pros

The leadership committee can sometimes be out of touch with the rest of the company. However, they are also very committed to making Winn a better place to work. They are doing what they can to keep employees engaged. The recent change in leadership helps a lot, as the new President (Patrick Appleby) is much more amiable, pro-active and down-to-earth than previous leaders.

Cons

The communication in the company is lacking. As a result, everyone seems to have their own way of doing things, which may or may not be the way the company wants us to do things. There are multiple regional offices throughout the US., so each state has different laws which affect some processes. The company is aware and is trying to make steps toward better communication.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! As you mentioned, WinnCompanies' leadership is very committed to giving team members the best possible workplace. As you may be aware, we've recently assembled a Communications Committee to continue to improve how we communicate with team members across the 22 states (and D.C.) that we operate in. We would appreciate the opportunity to hear any specific feedback you have around communication. Please don't hesitate to share any ideas with your manager or directly with the Communications Committee.
