-As CS if you're not promoted within 3 months you're likely stuck with that position until you leave. -Higher ups have a tendency to promote new hires (as little as one month old!) to team lead. -Processes aren't fully fleshed out in some areas, and any attempt to improve that is met with "this is how we've always done it" - you're dealing with people's money, they WILL get mad at you. it's an obvious for CS but still sucks - the culture is non existent now. favoritism is clear and present.
