Pros

-Pay -Work/Life Balance (HUGE PLUS!!) -Benefits -Management (literally, the best management I have ever worked under) -Work from home opportunities -Job opportunities / advancement All around the people here at Wise are the best. From Team Leads to other agents, everyone is so friendly and willing to help! There isn't a time where I think that I can't do this job - I know I have the support of my team to help.

Cons

Work from home for onboarding/training. I won't lie - this was very difficult for me, especially starting in Customer Service. When you're in the office, you have more ability to panic as a new hire and ask for help, but at home - you are alone and sometimes people are busy and can't help right away. Sometimes you may get overwhelmed but its rare.

Pros

Love the mission, people, and culture. Good work-life balance, when you compare to other fintechs. Really found a lot of stand-up colleagues who are smart, love what they do, and adapt quickly as things change. Opportunities to travel as we slowly reopen to it, hybrid working remote culture in the meantime.

Cons

Really lacking in growth opportunities in the Americas, especially if you're in Tampa. Although we're growing, I can't immediately recommend this work as the scope and compensation in compliance roles right now still feels quite ambiguous. Don't even consider a role here unless you already have experience in customer support, compliance, or banking operations, and can show how your experience is more valuable than what the company initially offers you. You should be prepared for a disappointing offer because this company discounts the Tampa market. Go to the interview and hear them out, because it is a good company to work for. But they need a reality check as to what the candidates in this market can offer, so show up ready to prove that you're ready to exceed these expectations.

Thanks for writing this thorough feedback. I’m sad to read that you’re feeling like there’s not as many growth opportunities here. The best way for us to take action on this is to get honest feedback just like this. I hope you’ve been able to voice your concerns to our leads and if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, I can set up a confidential meeting with someone from the People team. Please feel free to reach out to me on Slack and we can chat. Best, Maire

Pros

PTO Company trip Paid sabbatical after 4 years Stock Personal development monthly budget

Cons

Poor communication between product and operational teams. Autonomous teams make decisions that impact other teams, and although collaboration is better, there are always so many changes happening that it’s difficult to keep up. Product teams do not prioritize fixes without data, which can be hard to track/collect. Compensation is much better than it was, however, there are very few opportunities for advancement in Tampa. The flexibility we once enjoyed with this role is gone. We are pushed harder than ever to meet instant verification metrics which means working more evening and weekend shifts. This productivity push, and lack of staffing, means you have no opportunities to work on side projects that can aid in career advancement.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It sounds like you’re not having a good time at the moment and I want to try and help improve things for you. I'm particularly sad to read that you’re stressed with your work and that you feel that there’s not as many opportunities for you because of our product evolving so fast. If you feel comfortable coming forward, we can have a confidential chat about some of your concerns with either myself or someone else in the People team. Please feel free to reach out to me if you’d be up for a conversation. Maire
