It is a dynamic environment with some of the kindest and most hard working people you'll meet. There is always opportunity to advance and continue to learn and improve your skills. Management is open to hearing feedback and wants the engagement and opinions of employees.

Cons

The pace of the firm moves quickly and you have to be engaged and dedicated to work to keep up.

Pros

The firm has been growing rapidly in the last few years. Each team can be rather different depending on the senior analyst. I can't speak for other teams, but I have had an enjoyable time and learned tremendously from my boss and colleagues. Flat structure and friendly/fun work environment. Decent hours (<60).

Cons

It is not uncommon to have long and intense work hours (80-90) in certain teams, especially during the earning season.

Working at Wolfe requires bringing your A game; if you want to work with smart, motivated, and talented individuals who believe second place means you lost, there's no better place. We work hard, but we also know how to play hard at the right time. Why wouldn't you want to work with people who constantly strive for success? We are widely regarded as having the best research on the Street, and we've continued to grow consistently as we take share in the market place.

Cons

Expectations are indeed high; if you're not the type who enjoys working at a high level with like minded people, you're probably not going to thrive. That's a liability for some, and a plus for many others.
