Pros

Benefits are fair with Health, Vision, and Dental. The company participates in a program where you need to pass bio-metric screenings to have a reasonable price. If you do not pass or do not participate in programs to get you points that are assumed to increase your knowledge on being healthy, insurance can be pricey. On site gym or a compensation if you choose to use an off campus gym. In my history at the company there is opportunity for overtime to increase your yearly salary. If you strictly need experience this is a good place for you to get a steady paycheck and get your experience, however if you were my friend I would convince you to do your research and ask your hiring manager tough company culture questions.

Cons

Advancement: I haven't really seen any advancement opportunities for myself nor have I seen any one in my department gain advancement. I have applied and interviewed for a few jobs to advance within the company and have not been the selected candidate due to the departments sticking with someone already there or myself not being directly qualified and the other department being unwilling to train someone on the inside. E board and Management from a production persons point of view is disconnected. E board is thinking and applying ideas but management has no clue whats going on and performs a different way. This is only observation and personal conclusions from experience. Employees are given a chance to try out being a manager without previous experience and without proper mentor-ship in place for them to figure out how to be good managers vs employees given a chance to perform at a higher level under a well versed functional manager who can mentor and build a strong team. This idea seems a little backwards to me. I would rather work for a manager who knows more about managing and the over all goals than work for a manager that has no idea what they are doing when leading a team. This disconnection between E board, management and workers is where I believe a lot of failure and distrust comes from and is holding back the company.
