KKKree talks a good one, but their actions don't add up to the same. Cree is a Great Company to work for, but the office jobs seem to be controlled by Nationalist. Cree will treat you well if they favor you. The favor can be from you Race, Nationality, Education, and/or Economic status. The amount of nepotism is truly amazing. THEY pick who they want to be successful, and if you not favored YOU WON'T ADVANCE!!!

Cons

I never me the "Good Ol' Boys" till i started to work for this company. The favoritism is systematic and very refined in its operation. THEY pick who they want to be successful, and if you not favored YOU WON'T ADVANCE!!! Cree on the production level has its flaws, but the office jobs are the worst. The hiring process seems to consider Nationality more than anything. Many operator consider the Manager to be suspected white supremacist. Its sad that the company doesn't know how much their employee despise the companies blatant racist practices. The Good Ol' Boys.

some nice people, really depends on what group you end up in, the gym and cafeteria are nice perks, if you have a toxic personality you will succeed

Cons

many groups expect 60+ hours per week, weak vision and prospects for the future, racing to the bottom, product portfolio not big enough

Competitive pay with decent benefits to attract new employees.

Cons

Hierarchy culture where employees are not valued at all. Management is encouraged to ridicule and criticize subordinates regularly. Employees rewarded for throwing each other under the bus. HR cares little about employee complaints. Lots of bickering and gossiping between management and employees. Yearly cuts to benefits with increasing costs. Feedback is never positive, only "OK" if doing a great job, and treatment is poor if needing improvement. Management's personal feelings get in the way of professionalism. The best thing about this place was that I left.
