      Pros

      I have worked at Wolfspeed for going on 10 years now and the biggest pro is also the biggest con, every department and team is short staffed and forced to work with a skeleton crew. The positive of this is that 1 year at Wolfspeed is worth 5 years at any other company. I have learned and done so much in my time with the company it is insane. There is the constant ability to advance if you work hard and tell your management what you want out of your career. There are numerous community programs and ways to feel involved at every level of the company. There are constant challenges to overcome in new and creative ways.

      Cons

      The downside of the short staffing is exactly what you'd think. Burnout is very real at this company, I have constantly felt the need to take mental health days to recharge, but the company has always been understanding of that. In addition, you will feel a lot of the time like you are spinning your wheels and never have the time, energy, or resources to move the needle on critical improvements. I'd also say that you almost always have to take a step back to move forward at Wolfspeed. I've changed positions almost annually and have always done the new job for months before getting compensated for it.

      Cons

      Leadership (upper to middlelevel management) does not do a good job of leading, training or providing clear directions. Wolfspeed long-term management is cliquish. They do not welcome outsiders.
