Pros

The benefits are good but in other to reach that....you need to wait more than 2 years working with the temporary agency...

Cons

bad management, bad supervisors with shift leads....especially at night shift ...an example: in epi red nights supervisors and shift leads allow to some workers take extra breaks ...if you are their friends but if not you will end working more ...

Pros

Like all public-owned giant flagships, Cree offers good employee benefits, like decent health insurance, stock rewards, employee stock purchase plans, etc. I used to be proud of working for Cree, for that I could be a small part of a big difference.

Cons

Also like other big ships, Cree had such a large crew that it was not easy to organize. Lacking of clear directions or communications across departments and teams sometimes made the work inefficient. Each division could only see a small part of the whole picture and focused on its own targets. Sometimes it was good, for that there was less distraction. Sometimes not, things could get political and dramatic. Cree was trying really hard to reshape and reaim herself in reaction to the changes in lighting business. However for such a giant ship, it takes time (you can see that from the stock price). She had a brilliant and cheerful crew, but after a long, tough journey, the crew became less cheerful. Rumors began to spread, an intense atmosphere was building up and would not be easy to shake off. If you want to apply for a job in Cree, you should ask yourself if you will feel happy working in such a work environment, for a relatively long period of time.
