Great benefits. Very easy commute most of the time. Parking has improved immensely since the underground parking garage has opened.

Cons

The family type of feeling has been replaced by a more corporate watch your back type of attitude across campus. The lower you are in the hierarchy, then the more apt you are to be presumed guilty by the elites et al

WPI is a class struggle.

Pros

Working with the students. If you are fortunate to have a good dept. head WPI can be a great place to work in many other ways as well.

Cons

Staff does not receive support from management or administration. Tenured faculty are not held to the ethical standard WPI boasts. They are allowed to waste money, abuse staff and participate in inappropriate activities without repercussions.

The students are fantastic and make the job exciting. There's a lot of opportunity to get involved in the campus community, even as a staff member.

Cons

Higher level management isn't exactly qualified to be in their roles. Expectations are set very high without resources to meet expectations or accomplish goals.
