Pros

Passionate intelligent people to work with, lots of interesting projects and funding, very dynamic environment. It is a lot of fun and there is a lot of stuff to do and an enormous amount of support for projects

Cons

It is a little unstable, there is reasonably high faculty turnover, and the campus is constantly changing.

Pros

Research experience gives a close working relation with the supervisors and advisors. You get to pick a project and develop it into the direction you want to. Very good hands-on experience.

Cons

The way they process the SURF position should be more systematic and organized. They only mailed the decision way past the deadline they promised. Very inconvenient.
