Pros

I enjoy working here. The people are great, I am treated well and no major complaints except for one issue

Cons

The open concept is a disaster. It is extremely difficult to get work done as just the person next to you out of the corner of your eye is a problem. Everyone is always trying to talk to you and if forget about making a phone call, you can't hear well and they hear all the noise. There are never conference rooms open so you can't even hide to do your work. Open concept was good in theory, but it has been a disaster and we have tried it for long enough. It is pretty much universally despised.

We are happy to hear you enjoy working at Globoforce and enjoy working with your colleagues. We completely agree – our people are incredible! We also appreciate your feedback on our open-concept office. We understand everyone has different preferences regarding work spaces and know that while some love the collaboration and flow of our bright, open space, others prefer to have more private areas to get their work done. Our conference rooms are often being utilized for collaboration - meetings, trainings and interviews – however we are proud of the other available options for quiet work, including our phone booths, various “restaurant style booths”, couches, variety of “nooks”, our Globocafé, available quiet workspace in our G&A, Customer Success and Sales areas and even, the outdoor space surrounding our offices. We want everyone to feel empowered to work how it best suits them and encourage you to speak with HR if you need assistance in identifying the most ideal scenario for your productivity.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We recognize that periods of change can feel challenging, and we understand how that can contribute to a more stressful experience for some employees. We would respectfully disagree with the characterization of our industry and business. The need for recognition, connection, and belonging at work remains strong and as AI continues to reshape how work gets done, we believe the human side of work is becoming more important, not less. We also maintain customer retention rates in the high 90%'s, reflecting the value many organizations continue to see in our partnership. As our business matures, we're focused on becoming stronger, more scalable, and better positioned for the future. We appreciate your perspective and wish you success in your next chapter.
