Pros

Positive people breeds positive culture. Out of the many firms I have worked with, this company is one that stands firmly on their company values and culture. Our CEO, Marty, once told us ‘Business is all about people’. People means customers, people also means Workivians. During difficult period, we do not ring up clients just for our own performance indicators, we call them to show we CARE and will be here for them. This is also reflected in internal Workiva culture from top down as Management has demonstrated that they CARE for Workivians not just just for ‘a show’. Noticed how I never refer to us as Workiva staff, because the company is us and we are the company. We are Workivians.

Cons

As far as I have seen around here, Management will NOT sit on our concerns when we bring them up and let it mushroom into irreparable demages.

Pros

Ability to work from home, can build great relationships with teams and coworkers, can build great relationships with clients, challenging work

Cons

Frequent turnover due to excessive workload; senior leaders of department does not seem to care about team workload or retaining valuable and dedicated employees; some (not all) of the team leaders need leadership training on how to work on virtual teams- some are great technically but lack people skills which are necessary and can make a difference to an employee’s retention. Management didn’t agree to reduce my workload (which I had the highest on my team at the time) until I put in my resignation notice, which I didn’t want to do but was left with no choice.
