Flexible work environment, hours. Great people to work with.

Cons

Salary is below market and there is no 401k matching. Main focus is on company profitability at the expense of losing talent to higher-paying jobs. There isn't much opportunity for growth.

Pros

Workiva works really hard to maintain a startup culture with group outings, catering, great benefits etc.

Cons

Workiva is transitioning. Salary structure was communicated during the recruiting and onboarding process, though Workiva had no commitment to that structure. New hires are pigeon-holed into one role with unrealistic opportunities for promotion, and very little opportunity for salary increase.

Product is great. Culture idea is great.

Cons

Non-Iowa offices are micromanaged but not properly supported. PSM management is very old school and does not fit the projected company culture. Workloads are impossible. Too many managers and zero leaders with actual power. No support for professional development.
