Pros

Work life balance is good. Global culture is still decent.

Cons

Unfair promotion and career progression. A lot of internal politics. Favoritism towards US region with no clear guideline on revenue sharing. Service oriented, not a place for sales org. Myopic APAC expansion. Product will start to lag behind without proper plan in place. A lot of people who don't know what they are doing.

Pros

Used to be a great place - collaboration and great team members.

Cons

Workiva has become so top heavy and micromanagement is what they want. My manager knows nothing about Workiva’s product but insists on coming on calls to add value. What a joke. I have a colleague who is being harassed by her manager criticizing her sales skills even though she was 175% of plan and the top rep on our team. She works so hard and yet they are determined to push her out the door! How does that make the rest of us feel? Our VP is more concerned about promoting her self interests than protecting her team - she sees the behaviour and ignores it. HR is no where. Quotas have increased and territories are a fifth of what they used to be and they expect everyone to hit their numbers. That’s not happening and the team has lost all motivation. Four of our tenured reps were pushed out even though their performances were great. How do you explain this??? Management didn’t want them there and wanted younger “green” reps who they can pay a much lower salary to. Stay away from the sinking ship.
