      Pros

      great work life balance good cafe games a lot of good people good offices work with latest technology

      Cons

      Commute (from des moines) Culture is not the same as it was prior to IPO Options are worthless unless you were first 100 employees (or so) All the "top 10" rankings are just hype. It's nice but it's become "a job" Communication is terrible

      Pros

      I can see for entry level employees how this could be a fun place to work. The cafeteria is creative with cuisine and there are some fun events. The technology stack could certainly be a kickstarter to a great career elsewhere. The financial industry will be around forever, so as long as this company makes enough innovative product that their core clients keep buying them, the company should be safe. There are a lot of really great people here.

      Cons

      More politics than I would expect. More dishonesty than I would expect. Lack of vision outside of core competencies. A hugely cult-like culture. Indoctrination is fine, but I think it really prevents employees from seeing the problems at the core. Hours are long, but that is to be expected. There are a few managers who will severely burn you just to cover their own tails.

      Pros

      - Very Flexible Work / Life balance - Beer Fridge Wednesdays (used to be Fridays) - (Scottsdale Office) Einstein Bagels on Wednesdays - Awesome co-workers - Pretty modern techstack on frontend - Awesome deploy, testing, and QA infrastructure making development easier

      Cons

      - Growing a lot so doesn't feel as fast paced as it used to day to day - Management changes hands A LOT. - Sometimes people pushed towards management instead of staff positions - Senior devs tend to have to take on some of the responsibilities of managers at times (some cases are completely understandable, but I've seen other cases where it just wasn't called for)
