Pros

Fun company to work for, fast-paced, good product that works when franchise owners actually pay a decent wage.

Cons

CEO and other management say a lot of questionable things. They haven’t grown with the times and frankly have said some stuff that’s borderline illegal. CEO brought up being careful about hiring women as “they could get pregnant and miss work” and asked a colleague of mine during an interview if he was single or married, then said “it’s good you’re single, means you will work harder.”

- Managed to hire some excellent talent...

Cons

- Excellent talent does not stay as soon as they realize how poorly the business is run - Founders are incredibly cheap, does not spend on the basics to allow people to do their job, made a round of layoffs despite recently raising and having years of runway, they knowingly pay way below market compensation - Founders are completely in over their heads but don't trust people to work hard/do the jobs they were hired to do - Zero diversity in hiring

Great tech job, unlimited PTO, relatively comparable pay to other tech jobs, coworkers were fun and good to be around.

Cons

Sometimes a tough work/life balance, CEO makes rash decisions and facades intents with a culture that's not upheld. Not impressed with CEO actions of recent layoffs despite strong financial position they're in.
